EHG promotes Jonathan Ervin to the Atlanta Branch Manager/Vice President

EHG recently names Jonathan Ervin as the Branch Manager/Vice President for the location in Atlanta. Jonathan is a veteran of the environmental remediation and demolition industry with fifteen years of experience.
Mr. Ervin brings experience such as oversight of projects representing heavy industry, hospital and education facilities. He will direct the day-to-day operations of field units including estimators/project managers, implementing plans and policies to achieve overall corporate objectives to insure maximum operating results. We are excited for Jonathan to oversee management of the Atlanta Gulf Coast Region.
This appointment is part of a strategic growth plan set by EHG for business development throughout the southeast. This includes expanding its client portfolio and providing a hands-on account management team.

EHG's Director of Health & Safety is a Certified Industrial Hygienist
It is with great honor to announce that Dave Brummitt has earned his Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) accreditation. Dave manages the corporate safety program and the Charlotte branch for EHG. He oversees the implementation and modification of the program, directs the safety support staff, assesses requisite training needs and develops corresponding task-specific training. Dave is also responsible for conducting safety assessments and job specific assessments. Dave currently serves as chairman of the EHG Safety Council and administers our monthly safety academy meetings and quarterly safety training meetings.
Environmental Holdings Group, LLC (EHG) Receives 2009 Excellence in Construction Merit Award

The Associations of Builders and Contractors (ABC) hosted the 2009 Excellence In Construction Awards Banquet in Greensboro, North Carolina where
EHG won an “Excellence in Construction Merit Award”. Over 400 ABC members and attendees from all over the Carolinas was present in support of EHG. The 2009 winning project was the demolition and abatement of Cavalier Apartment Complex located on Chantilly Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina. This apartment complex had been vacant for years due to several rounds of flooding by Sugar Creek.The units were being torn down to make way for a new park for the County of Mecklenburg. The project consisted of the abatement and demolition of 191 apartment units as well as the demolition of 140,000 sq. foot of asphalt. EHG was also contracted to do erosion control and cut a 60 foot wide 9 foot deep 2000 foot long swale. EHG performed waste management for Mecklenburg County.
EHG maintained a 77% recycle/salvage rate for the project and created a strong partnership with Habitat for Humanity. During the project, EHG worked over 6,200 man-hours incident free in a high-risk environment. Despite the aggressive schedule and the constant threat of flooring, EHG finished the project on time. The EHG project team was there to receive the award along with the President, BJ Fungaroli and Senior Vice President, Brian Sanders. Ryan Wathen, the 2009 President of ABC and Vice President of Rodgers Builders presented the award.

The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce has announced that Environmental Holdings Group, LLC will receive the Steady Growth and Profitability Award during the 25th anniversary celebration of the Pinnacle Business Awards on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. The reception and awards ceremony will be held from 5 until 8:45 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center. The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce will be presenting awards to some of the Triangle’s most successful business executives at this prestigious event.
